God we know your Word says that You are the “same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). So we know that You are a big God who can still do what seems to be the impossible. Father, we’re gathered here this today to ask You to do something amazing.

Father, the Bible clearly shows us that Jesus loved the children and was concerned about their well being. So God, WE PRAY for the safety of children that others are plotting against. And Father, WE PRAY that those intending evil will be caught and harshly punished.

Father, WE PRAY for those who took Mary from her family. They may think that no one knows what they did, but we know Father that You are fully aware of all things. Indeed, nothing escapes your notice.

* We know Your Word says that the Holy Spirit will convict people of sin. And so we ask that You will convict those who have done wrong to Mary, so that they would come forward with the information we are looking for.

* God, while it may be difficult for us to forgive, we know that while Jesus was being crucified by evil doers, He prayed “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). So God, help us be like Jesus – help us to forgive so that our hearts do not become callous.

* And Father we know that Your love is far reaching and that You desire all to be saved. And so we ask that you would save the souls of those who took Mary, so that they would find forgiveness.

Father, WE PRAY for those others who know what happened to Mary. WE PRAY that You will give them the courage they need to step forward. After years, people may begin to think it won’t make a difference. God, help them understand that it will – that we need the answers they can supply.

Father, WE PRAY for law enforcement and the others who are helping us find answers. WE PRAY for cooperation. Cooperation from officials who will follow up on possible leads. Cooperation from the media who have so graciously kept Mary in the news.

Father, WE PRAY for Mary’s family. WE PRAY for Your Holy Spirit, the comforter, helper, and counselor to touch them both. WE PRAY for Your generous compassion and abounding mercies to fill their spirit. Father, give them the supernatural ability to hand this most difficult of situations completely over to You. God WE PRAY You will give them peace – rest – in the midst of this storm.

7. Father, WE PRAY that though we live in a world of sin, You will help us to shine the light of Jesus Christ. Help us remember that the light always dispels the darkness. Help us to live in a way that will make this world a better place.
